Malta International airport

Malta international airport is the only airport in Malta and in the Maltese Archipelago. Malta international airport, even though it is called by foreigners Valletta airport (from the name of the Maltese capital) is actually located between Luqa and Gudja.

The present airport is located where the former RAF Luqa airport was located and it is still called by locals Luqa Airport. Malta international airport has been completely refurbished and open to the public in 1992.
