VILLAS & COTTAGES

In Malta, in the countryside or near the coast, it is possible to find beautiful villas to purchase, either already restructured or in need of restoration. In this case it would be cheaper and you would be free to restructure it the way you prefer, but the cost of restoration can be quite high.
In the typical farms of the countryside one can see how the farmers prepare the dairy products made from milk: from the milking to the cheese, which you can also eat on the spot. There are many farms where it is possible to taste the typical dishes of the local gastronomy. You can also visit a local vineyard and sample some genuine fresh wine. Life in the Sicilian countryside can be rewarding.

Price range:
The prices for villas vary a lot, according to the location, layout, conditions and accessories.
Prices can for be between Euro 175,000 to 500,000 for a 100 square met re cottage.

Rent prices:
If you want to rent your property, the average rent per month, can range from Euro 400 to 900 per week

APARTMENTS COMPLEXES On the coast

In Malta, by the coast, one can find residential compounds composed of several units (usually cottages for one or two families, or a building with a few apartments). The compounds usually include green areas; some of them with parking lots, small areas equipped for children, swimming pool and tennis courts.

Price range:
The prices, are similar to the prices of apartments in villages by the sea.

Rent prices:
For an apartment which can accommodate 4 people, with two bathrooms and fully furnished including towels and bed sheet, the approximate prices are:

Low season: Euro 500 per week
Middle season: Euro 700 per week
High season: Euro 900 per week
High season includes also the weeks of Easter, Christmas and New Year.
